News | Hartman Involved in Key Land Use and Conservation Easement Law Conferences

Firm attorneys continue active participation in numerous conferences on land use and conservation easement law topics. David Hartman will co-chair the Conservation Easements Conference in Austin on September 24-25, 2009, held in conjunction with CLE International. Keynote speakers for the conference include Carter Smith, Executive Director, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and Laura Huffman, State Director, The Nature Conservancy of Texas. Hartman delivered a presentation regarding conservation acquisitions at the February 2009 Texas Land Trust Conference in Austin, Texas. Hartman also serves as Chair of the 17th Annual Land Development Seminar on September 18, 2009, sponsored by the Austin Bar Association Real Estate Section. He served as chair of the conference in 2008, and for the past several years on the planning committee of the Land Use Conference hosted annually by the University of Texas School of Law.
